This is the branch of physiotherapy concerned with treatment of disorders of the nervous system which includes a range of neurological conditions such as Stroke, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, tumours of the brain and neurological trauma such as head or spinal injuries, having an impact on normal bodily movements and functions.
The Course contents include Basic medical science, biomechanics and kinesiology, exercise physiology, exercise therapy, Physiotherapy assessment and management in neurological disorders, neurosurgical rehabilitation, physiotherapy in pediatric neurology and a mandatory dissertation based on project work.
